About this event:
If anyone had reason to live a life of being afraid and cowering in fear it would be Corrie Ten Boom. When I saw her picture and read these words it warmed my heart. And, led me to ponder entering God’s realm in the midst of being afraid of what could or would happen during this pandemic.
I began by going to the Psalms again. This time Psalm 56 nourished my soul as I read it. Psalm 56:3-4 says, “when I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. In God, whose Word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?”
Just as Jesus looked at the disciples and said, “with man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 )”, so He is looking at us and inviting us into His realm of the impossible. He desires to flood our souls with His strength, His peace, His comfort, and His life so that we can walk daily with assurance that He is taking care of us.
Psalm 56:9b reminds us, …this I know, that God is for me. And if God is for us what can mere man do to us?
So, today take time to pray! And, as you enter God’s realm where everything is possible, ponder Corrie Ten Boom’s words, “God specializes in the impossible. Nothing is too great for His Almighty power. Nothing is too small for His Love.”
God is for you!
